On January 2020 the rock band Temples came to Cambridge, Massachusetts promoting their album “Hot Motion” released last September 2019. The venue where the concert took place was just one block away from the prestigious Harvard University, in Harvard Square.

Their first album “Sun Structures” was very successful and of course songs like “The Golden Throne” were performed and everybody was singing “Everything that you say to your closest one, Makes you feel like a pain toward everyone”.

Their style gives some Led Zeppelin vibe, which for younger generations is a joy to experience somehow that psychedelic rock style from the 70s. Lucky the ones that lived it!

At some point of the show the lead singer James Bagshaw finished a song and started asking where the lighting technician was, because there were too many strobes that literally they didn´t know where they were at the stage while playing. After some adjustments they continued playing but before starting “Keep On The Dark” James said to the lighting technician Hey! Just keep it like that; everybody knew that the lyrics “Dream on and sleep won´t save you from the night, Drink a bottle, rest in wine” were about to be heard.

Undoubtedly one the fan favorites was “Shelter Song”, lighting up the faces of the audience with a big psychedelic smile on a cold north east night in Cambridge.
