Has been a year since “Love Is Dead” was released, their 3rd album which consolidated CHVRCHES on the audience musical taste; taking them on tour for several countries across the world.
Live, they sound just like the record. Iain & Martin are tremendous musicians, Lauren has an impressive stage domain where she graciously connects with the spectators by sharing very creative comments and stories.
Due to an unexpected cancellation from Janelle Monáe (yes, festival shirts at the merch store had her name printed still) CHVRCHES came to fill that missing spot and did it on a professional and elegant way. Even Lauren mentioned that they were “supposed” to be Janelle Monáe but actually she was cooler than CHVRCHES. Stylish and nice comment.
With melodic songs like The Mother We Share , Graffiti & Recover their shows are warranty of a good time and confirm their current place in the music industry; all over the top!
