Skateboarding on a mall, shirt and a tie? Yes! You are thinking about 2002 when the very first album of Avril Lavigne was released and songs like “Complicated” and “Sk8er Boi” stuck on your mind. Now on 2019 she is back with “Head Above Water”, first album after 5 years and is a good reason to watch her on tour!
She played in Boston at the beginning of October and she presents a nice mix between the classics and new songs like “Dumb Blonde” & “I Fell In Love With The Devil” this last one with her on the piano, giving a melancholic atmosphere to the night with flames images on the screen.
Of course, she performed songs from her second album “Under My Skin” like the fan favorite “He Wasn´t”. Her third album was present as well with the hit “Girlfriend”; pretty sure that many of the fans where thinking about their crush and planning the boyfriend steal, because the singing of the “Hey, Hey! You, You!” was so loud!
Another song with so much passion from her and a fantastic connection with the fans is “I´m With You” placing smiles on the audience and herself, confirming why she is always the princess with a happy ending.
