A beautiful night and summer just over; it was a perfect evening to chill and listen a powerful voice that engage your senses on every note and every word pronounced.

We are talking about “Chan” Marshall, better known as Cat Power who is promoting her album “Wanderer” and this week performed at a club close to the lovely Boston Common Park.

On an atmosphere of darkness selectively illuminated by blue or red lights you could close your eyes and enjoy her high vocal range while slightly moving by the rhythm of the drums, guitar and piano in songs like “In Your Face” or  “Metal Heart”.

She achieved massive success on 2006 with the album “The Greatest” and it has continued ever since, as on 2019 she got on the stage of one of the most important festivals of the world, Glastonbury.

It is impressive the way she sings with two microphones giving a unique effect to her voice while walking side to side and connecting with the audience (even speaking a few words in spanish) making sure that even you have a Metal Heart, you melt to Cat Power’s voice.
