The California band released a new album last November 1st 2019, their 7th studio record “New Age Norms 1”. On 2020 their tour came to the city of Boston at a venue in the heart of Fenway-Kenmore area just a few blocks from the Back Bay and Copley Square neighborhood.

Their usual style with Nathan Willett on vocals and playing the piano or guitar was present with new songs like “Calm Your Nerves” and “4th Of July”, this last one with a blues felling with fast piano chords in between giving a relaxed sensation to the audience.

Something cool at the show, was when around the middle of the setlist a cake was brought into the stage in order to celebrate drummer Joe Plummer birthday! With that moment, you could see the good vibes between the band members that are shown on their performances.

Some of their classics like “First” & “All This Could Be Yours” from their “Hold My Home” album or “Hang Me Up To Dry” from their classic “Robbers & Cowards” created a nice throwback atmosphere for the fans, whose were singing out loud  their songs. I would say “Louder Than Ever”; confirming why the indie rock band is more present than ever.
