As humans, we tend to have first impressions depending on how somebody looks or acts. This is not an exception for music and Pale Waves is a good example of the above statement. Coming out to the stage, you will immediately notice some kind of goth make up on Heather (lead singer), either you can think… Am I on a goth pub from Manchester? Or did I just miss The Cure´s concert from 10 years ago?
All of the sudden you’ll start to listen catchy tunes from songs like Television Romance, and If you pay attention Ciara (drums) might be wearing a My Chemical Romance shirt but the rest of the band is not dressed up. That’s the moment when you realize that looks are just an expression of us… humans; then you keep enjoying and listening songs like: One More Time, which has such an 80´s vibe or one of the fan favorites There´s A Honey
Finally, the only conclusion is that you attended a Pale Waves concert, enjoyed, sang and jumped no matter which musical taste you have, Goth or Pop.
